SOLVENT
EVAPORATOR

Home

Solvent Evaporator consists of two components: A holder for the glass scintillation vials and the Evaporation Head.

The target compounds are released from the SPE columns and collected into scintillation vials. Then the Evaporation Head is placed on the top of vials and secured by gently tightening two red screws.

To evaporate solvents, nitrogen is blown into the scintillation vials via a Luer female connector located on the side of the Evaporation Head. The Evaporation Head distributes nitrogen into individual vials.

The outlet of the Evaporation Head can be connected to a cold trap to condense the solvent vapors.
