Personal Chemistry Tools
Torviq offers two types of solid-phase synthesizers that differ by the quantity and number of compounds synthesized concurrently. We also offer simple tools for safe isolation of products after cleavage from resin.
Up to 48 compounds, quantity from 50 mg to 3 g of resin per compound.
Up to 4 compounds, quantity from 3 g to 30 g of resin per compound.
Safe and economical integrated tools for isolation of products after cleavage from resin.
Domino Block is a liquid distribution manifold for manual and semi-automatic parallel solid-phase organic synthesis that simplifies liquid exchange and integrates common synthetic steps. Enclosed reaction vessels made from plastic syringes are attached to the Domino Block that connects these reaction vessels to a manual distribution valve. Turning a handle of this valve is the only operation a chemist has to perform to wash resin beads in reaction vessels.
La Marast is a synthesizer for manual solid phase synthesis. The reaction vessel is made of 250-mL polypropylene container and it can be charged with 3 to 10 g of resin. A 450-mL reaction vessel can handle up to 30 g of resin. Polypropylene porous cylinder connected to Teflon tubing is mounted into the vessel cap and connected to a manual distribution valve, in a manner idetical to the Domino Block synthesizer. Up to four independent reaction vessels can be operated simultaneously.
Majority of organic solid-phase syntheses is carried out on acid labile linkers, the Wang linker is among the most frequently used. After completion of the solid-phase synthesis, final compounds are typically released from the resin by solutions of trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) in dichloromethane. Torviq Solvent Evaporator is designed for safe, efficient, and enviroment friendly evaporation of solvents, particulalry TFA.
